Although I fish a lot of tournaments and experienced anglers, one of the things I love to do is take kids fishing.

Fishing is one of the best activities you can share with a child. Showing a child how to use a rod and reel and actually catch fish provides lessons in patience, discipline and a respect for nature, along with offering loads of fun, excitement and a sense of accomplishment.

I’ve found over the years that kids like the boat almost as much as the fishing. So, children are allowed to help me pilot the boat from up in the helm to and back from the fishing grounds. Be sure to bring a camera to get a picture of your child steering the 50’ Killer White!
